Dr. Kim and Dr. Emini are double Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
These qualifications allow our physicians to provide the most up-to-date surgical techniques in foot surgery and the best foot and ankle medical care possible. They are the experts in diagnosing disorders of the foot and ankle.

Diana Emini, DPM
Dr. Diana Emini has been practicing for nearly 20 years. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her Doctorate from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her surgical residency at Loretto Hospital, with additional training at Rush Oak Park, Gottlieb, and MacNeal Hospitals.
Inspired from a young age to pursue a medical career, Dr. Emini’s passion was solidified in third grade. Her interest in podiatry grew during high school while volunteering and shadowing doctors in various specialties. This exposure ignited her dedication to the comprehensive field of podiatry, which encompasses skin and bone surgery, dermatology, musculoskeletal injuries, and diabetic foot health management. Enthralled by these facets, Dr. Emini has devoted her career to foot and ankle care.
Michelle Kim, DPM
Dr. Michelle Kim obtained her bachelor's degree from Loyola University of Chicago and her Doctorate from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. With over 20 years of experience, she has established herself as a dedicated podiatrist.
Dr. Kim completed her surgical residency at Loretto Hospital, complemented by training at Rush Oak Park, Gottlieb, and MacNeal Hospitals. Additionally, she completed a medical residency at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital.
Since childhood, Dr. Kim aspired to be a doctor. She discovered her passion for combining surgery, sports medicine, and comprehensive medical care as a foot and ankle specialist, finding her perfect career balance in this specialty.
When They Met…
Doctors Emini and Kim had the pleasure of being colleagues during their surgical residency. Both doctors earned the honors of Chief Surgical Resident for their respective years in the program. It was during their training that they met and became good friends. The doctors found that they share the same philosophy with regard to patient care and decided to open their medical practice together as partners.
The physicians believe in developing caring relationships with everyone they treat and establishing a level of mutual trust with their patients. They both enjoyed volunteering their time to teach medical students and to host free foot screenings for the public. They love what they do and want to take that extra step for their patients.
